Meredith Marakovitz was a great sport after she received a Gatorade shower from Brett Gardner (who else?), after Carlos Beltran hit a
3-run walkoff homer to beat the Baltimore Orioles 5-3. It was the Yankees first walkoff win of the year.
Gardner is infamous for dishing out Gatorade Baths, but I do not ever remember him hitting a reporter before.
Marakovitz asked Gardner when she should give him the dry cleaning bill, and he said hold onto it, there will be plenty more.
