Kristina Akra doused - Nationals Gio Gonzalez wins his 20th game

Kristina should know better than to wear white.  Or maybe someone picks up the tab for the dry cleaning.

Jayson Werth has been involved in many Gatorade incidents this year.  Maybe he is getting bored of that, and is now trying out new things like Super Soaker water guns.

Sarah Kustok - pie in the face by A.J. Pierzynski

OK, this is classic. Alex Rios hit a walkoff homer. So during his interview with sideline reporter Sarah Kustok, A.J. Pierzynski came by and hit Sarah with a shaving cream pie in the face (see video at bottom of page).  It was sort of goodbye present, as she was leaving Chicago for a better job with the YES network (Yankees).

Kristina Akra, MASN - 3rd Gatorade bath in 8 days

Supposedly Kristina Akra has been bathed on the field more than any other reporter in history.

While interviewing Ian Desmond, Kristina gets a gatorade shower from Washington Nationals players Rick Ankiel and Chad Tracy. All of this after Ian had the game winning walk off sacrifice fly in the 10th inning to beat the Marlins 3-2.

Kristina Akra gets some blue Gatorade while interviewing pitcher Edwin Jackson

The Washington Nationals won their 5th game in a row, beating the Reds 4-1.  Thanks goes to Edwin Jackson's complete game gem, where he gave up just one run.  And thanks to the team for celebrating with Gatorade...
