Erin Andrews get a Gatorade Bath after Red Sox ALCS Game 2 comeback

Trailing 5-1 in the 8th inning, the Boston Red Sox mounted an incredible comeback and defeated the Detroit Tigers 6-5. David Ortiz hit a grand slam in the eighth, and Jarrod Saltalamacchia drove in the winning run in the ninth. Of course the Soz were pretty happy, and doused Erin Andrews after the game.

Jason Giambi's 2nd walkoff homer of the year deserves a Ice Water Bath or something

Giambi is also the oldest player to hit a walkoff homer, at 42 years, 258 days. Hank Aaron had hit one at 42 years, 157 days.  I am pretty sure this is Jamie Hersch interviewing him.

Courtney Jones doused - after Scott Van Slyke crushed a two run homer in the eleventh inning

Dodgers reporter Courtney Jones was caught completely off guard, and as a result was completely drench by this blue Powerade bath. Her instagram here.

And I'm just curious, does she work for the Dodgers, or Fox Sports?

Meredith Marakovits escapes from Eduardo Nunez's Gatorade Bath

The Yankees beat the White Sox 6-4 Tuesday evening, rallying in the 8th inning for 5 runs. Eduardo Nunez capped the comeback with a game-winning double, so Brett Gardner gave him a Gatorade Bath.

You can see the video (from the YES Network) of this Gatorade Bath at the 0:30 mark. Meredith Marakovitz gets away nicely.

Meredith Marakovits interviews Ivan Nova after his huge pitching performance

New York Yankees pitcher Ivan Nova pitched a complete game shutout on Saturday, as the Yankees defeated the Baltimore Orioles 2-0. So it was no big surprise when Brett Gardner snuck up behind him with a cooler full of Gatorade. Gardner has done this many times before, recently to Alfonso Soriano and Jayson Mix.

Chicago reporter - Josh Phegley drives in winning run

I'm getting a bit upset that I cannot find out any information about this reporter. It's kind of hard to figure out who she is, since you can only see her from the rear.
DOES ANYBODY KNOW WHO SHE IS? Could it be CSN Chicago reporter Jen Lada? Just a guess since she has dark hair and covers the White Sox...

I think its Jody Jackson watching Paul Goldschmidt's Bubblegum shower...

Diamondbacks first baseman Paul Goldschmidt got a post-game bubblegum shower courtesy of teammate Gerardo Parra on Tuesday night.   Goldschmidt had homered in the bottom of the ninth off Orioles closer Jim Johnson to tie the game and send it to extra innings.  Then Goldschmidt came up again to lead off the bottom of the 11th and promptly smashed a T.J. MacFarland fastball over the opposite-field fence for a walk-off homer.  I think he deserved 2 showers for that performance.

Jody Jackson leans away from the bubblegum, it's not like a Gatorate shower, right?

Anyone know who this is? Is it Jody Jackson?

With the score tied in the bottom of Monday's ninth inning, D-backs outfielder Adam Eaton launched the first pitch he saw from Darren O'Day over the right center field wall, notching his first career walk-off home run and helping to defeat the visiting Orioles. Eaton's teammates responded by giving him a bubblegum shower, a bubblegum helmet, a bear hug from a bobcat, a Gatorade shower, a towel to the face, and a slap on the tush. You can see the whole video here.

Julie Alexandria gets caught in Steven Strasburg's Gatorade Bath

Steven Strasburg posted his first career shutout, but Julie Alexander one-upped him by getting hit with Gatorade for at least the 4th time this season. Back-to-back on April 25 and April 26, and now again back-to-back, on August 10 and August 11. Washington Nationals sideline reporter looks like it is the most hazardous job in MLB. Last year Kristina Akra got similar treatment.

Meredith Marakovits watches Brett Gardner get doused again - 2nd time in 3 days

In the ninth inning, Brett Gardner crushed the first walk-off home run of his career, to beat the Detroit Tigers 5-4. Of course he got doused by Alfonso Soriano. Meredith Marakovits doesn't look to worried, she must be standing well clear.

Meredith Marakovits watches Brett Gardner get a taste of his own medicine

Brett Gardner singled with two outs in the 10th inning to beat the Tigers, and end the Tigers 12 game winning streak. And considering all of the Gatorade baths that Gardner has dished out, he must have known that this was coming. Meredith Marakovits sure did.

At the bottom of the page, you can see the video of this Gatorade Bath at the 1:00 mark (courtesy of the YES Network).
